With over 20 years of experience in rheumatology, connective tissue diseases, and long-term condition management, Louise is a highly respected specialist dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care.

Since 2005, Louise worked within the Rheumatology and Connective Tissue Disease Service at the Royal Free London Hospital, where she served as Lead Nurse from 2009 to 2024. During her distinguished career, thus far, she also completed a two-year secondment as the National Long Term Conditions Professional Lead for the Royal College of Nursing, helping to shape best practice and improve care for people living with long-term health conditions across the UK.
Louise continues to work closely with the British Society for Rheumatology, contributing her expertise to a range of clinical initiatives, service development projects, and advisory work.
In 2024, Louise established her own specialist healthcare consulting practice, bringing together decades of clinical expertise with a personalised, compassionate approach to care. Our clinic is recognised for its patient-centred philosophy and extensive experience in the assessment and management of Raynaud's phenomenon and connective tissue diseases. We are committed to empowering patients with expert advice, evidence-based treatment, and ongoing support, helping them to better understand and manage their condition while improving their quality of life.

Kevin was the clinical scientist in charge of Microvascular Diagnostics at the Royal Free Hospital from 1992 - 2023.
He is an Accredited Senior Imaging Scientist and Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and current President of the European Association of Thermology.

Kevin was the clinical scientist in charge of Microvascular Diagnostics at the Royal Free Hospital from 1992 - 2023.
He is an Accredited Senior Imaging Scientist and Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and current President of the European Association of Thermology.
He is also a member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and has served two terms on IPEM’s Physiological Measurement Special Interest Group Committee.
Kevin was awarded his PhD for research using thermal imaging in rheumatology from the University of Glamorgan (now University of South Wales) in 2009.
He has extensive experience of nailfold capillaroscopy imaging in connective tissue diseases and contributes regularly to training and education via projects such as the British Society of Rheumatology Course on nailfold capillaroscopy.
